About Us
As a logging contractor based in Humboldt County, our mission is to uphold the highest level of integrity and quality in everything we do. We deeply respect and appreciate the forest lands surrounding our communities, treating our clients’ land as if it were our own. With over 40 years of experience, Redwood Forest Products Inc focuses on ground-based logging operations, equipped with the capabilities for road construction and site development. Additionally, we have two portable sawmills and offer custom milling services up to size 9 x 12.
John Lima embarked on his logging career in 1973 as a log truck driver. In 1978, he ventured out on his own with a CAT D6B. Alongside his wife Claudia, he successfully grew the company, adapting to the ever-changing timber industry. In 2019, we welcomed Alex Hunt to our team. With a background in the construction industry and a lifelong passion for timber, Alex became a partner in the company in 2022.
